Blanche E. Bruno

Blanche Eleanor Bruno, age 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 1, 2019, at the Angels Senior Living in Tampa, Fla.
She was born on May 10, 1925, in Bouquet, N.Y., to John and Mary (Davis) Sweatt.
She was married to Joseph A. Bruno Jr., on May 30, 1942, at the Methodist Church Parsonage in Willsboro, N.Y.
She is survived by her children: Son, Ronald Bruno Sr. (Susan) of Willsboro, N.Y., Daughters: Janice Sylvester (Anthony) of Mechanicville, N.Y., Sharron Vander Wiele (Kenneth) of Willsboro, N.Y., and Catherine Redford (Richard) of Tampa, Fla.; a sister, Dorothy Jacques of Willsboro, N.Y. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 76 years, Joseph; her parents; two brothers: Lester (Bud) Sweatt, John Sweatt; one sister, Bernice Mero, and one half-sister, Hilda Sausville; also an infant granddaughter, Ashley Erin Redford.
She enjoyed her flower garden, bowling, playing bingo, playing cards, fishing with Joe and spending time with her family and friends.
A graveside service will be celebrated Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Memorial Cemetery in Willsboro.
