Floyd Eldred Obituary

Floyd J. "Johnny" Eldred, 59 of Plattsburgh passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born July 14, 1958 in Malone, NY, the son of Robert, Sr. and Gladys Daust. He liked to jockey, he loved music, working and old movies.

He was predeceased by one brother, Robert "Blondie" Daust, Jr.

Survivors include, his parents, Robert Sr. and Gladys Doss of Morrisonville; his wife Darleen Eldred of Plattsburgh; one son J. R. German and his husband Irvin of Champlain; two daughters, Karen Rabideau and her companion, Brad Smart of Silver Lake, Margo Eldred and her companion Bill Mcamara of Chazy; two sisters, Candy "Queenie" Collins of Morrisonville, Kathy Reyell and her husband Fred of Beekmantown and seven grandchildren, Cooper LaBarge, Austin LaPier, Justine LaBarge, Aaron Robart, Joseph Sorrell, Kendra Bushey and Zoey Bushey. He is also survived by one great grandson, Cooper LaBarge, Jr. and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Friday, May 11, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 in the Ross Funeral Home Chapel.
