Jerry R. Ashline

Jerry R. Ashline, 85 of Mooers Forks passed away Friday, June 21, 2019 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH.

He was born May 7, 1934, the son of Floyd and Irene (Barrier) Ashline.  He attended St. Mary’s School in Champlain.  Jerry was a lifelong dairy farmer.  He loved restoring old tractors.  He was also a member of St. Ann’s Church in Mooers Forks. 

Jerry was predeceased by his parents, one young son, Allan Ashline; and two brothers, Lionel and Rudolph Ashline. 

Left to cherish memories of Jerry are, his wife of 68 years, Isabel of Mooers Forks; two daughters, Jana Ashline of Chazy, Carol Ashline and Scott of Perrys Mills; one son, Larry Ashline and Marlene of Mooers Forks; one brother, Richard Ashline; five grandchildren, Holly Schindler, Neil Ashline, Shana Ashline, Jessica Garrant and Jacob Garrant as well as five great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers from 4:00-7:00.  A Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church in Mooers Forks.  Interment will follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery.
