John Agoney Obituary

CHAZY LAKE-John A. Agoney, 90, of Chazy Lake passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh.

He was born October 7, 1925 in Chazy Lake, the son of Louis and Helen (Garrow) Agoney. He enjoyed tinkering and playing rummy.

John was predeceased by his parents; one son, Joseph Agoney, four brothers, Louis Agoney, William Agoney, Ernest Agoney and Franklin Agoney; six sisters, Rose LaMare, Elizabeth Pettis, Theresa Haley, Beatrice Shae, Ruth Goddeau and Edith Rabideau.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Dandrow of Ellenburg Depot; two sons, Richard L. "Dickie" Agoney of Bonneau, SC, William Agoney of Cadyville, NY; one grandson, William "Skeeter" Agoney and several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
