Joseph LaBombard Obituary

Joseph A. LaBombard, 57, of Champlain passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh.

He was born October 16, 1960 in Malone, the son of Austin and Cecilia (LaClair) LaBombard.

He was an avid sportsman, and very much enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers. He also enjoyed spending his days off driving around to visit family; often with his beloved Pomeranian, Patty Pom Pom.

He was previously employed as a farm hand at Rovers Farm in Chazy.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Allen LaBombard, George LaBombard and Howard LaBombard.

He is survived by his two daughters, Amber and Emily LaBombard of Rouses Point; his brother, Ralph (Roseann) LaBombard of Chazy; his sisters, Suzanne Abare of Dannemora, Marilyn (Tom) Manor of Mooers Forks, Bernadine (Lisa Olesen) LaBombard of Plattsburgh and several nieces and nephews. He shared a very special connection with one of his nephews, Shawn Abare.

A funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, September 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers.
