Larry M. Perrea

Larry M. Perrea, 73, of Mooers, passed away on Nov. 3, 2019.
He was born in Malone, N.Y., to Marion St. Andrew and Albert Perrea.
Larry graduated from Champlain High School in 1965. He worked as a machinist for Harris Graphics for 23 years. When Harris closed in 1989, he opened his own auto repair shop until his retirement in 1998. Larry was proud of the home and life he had built. He considers his family his greatest accomplishment. They in turn recognize him as the best husband, father, and papa for which they could have asked. He will be missed beyond measure.
Left to cherish his memory are, his wife of 53 years, Sherry (Johnson), sons Jody (Anne), Cory (Ali), Nathan (Jess) and daughters, Amy-jo (Neil) and Kristy (Pete); his favorite people on earth, the ones who get to call him Papa; Caroline, Logan, Talia, Connor, Cameron, Makayla, Kaelyn, and Sarah; his sister, Sharron and her children, John, Tracy, Jennifer, and Michael, his sister Jeannie and brother David; sisters and brothers-in-law, and many well loved nieces and nephews.
Larry loved planting trees and has done so for every one in his family. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you plant a tree or grow something beautiful in his memory.
A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 8, 2019, at Ross Funeral Home, 2586 U.S. 11, Mooers, N.Y.
