Madeline LaFountain Obituary

ELLENBURG DEPOT- Madeline D. LaFountain, 77 of Ellenburg Depot passed away Friday, March 25, 2016 at the CVPH Medical Center.

She was born January 2, 1939 in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Louis and Adeline Guerin.

Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Elmer LaFountain; one son, Freddy LaFountain and four brothers, Edward Guerin, Ernest Guerin, Felix Guerin and Clifford Guerin.

Survivors include, three sons, Elmer LaFountain and his companion, Jessica Nephew, Terry LaFountain, Winford LaFountain and his wife Angela of Mooers; one daughter, Tina LaFountain of Ellenburg Depot; one brother, Richard Guerin and his wife Dorothy of Churubusco; two sisters, Evalina Burdo of Ellenburg and Lorraine Cashman and her husband Robert of Plattsburgh. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sarah, Kenneth, Mary, Stephanie, Shantel, Kristie, Fred Jr., Brianna, Patrick, Josh, Tara, Alex and Riley; great-grandchildren, David, Kayden and Ava Lynn; one daughter in law, Mary LaFountain of Ellenburg Depot; a sister in law, Edna Coolidge of Ellenburg and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers. A funeral service will be follow at 4:00 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
