Michael Riley

MOOERS-Michael H. Riley, 64, of Mooers passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born October 22, 1951 in Plattsburgh, the son of Lorrin and Caroline (Ormsby) Riley. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and making flies for fly fishing. He also enjoyed woodworking. He served in the U. S. Army for 21 years, retiting in 1991. Michael worked as a Water Treatment Plant Operator for the Village of Rouses Point. He was also a member of the V. F. W. in Champlain.

Michael was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Star Riley, who passed away February 22, 2012.

Survivors include, one son, Kyle Riley and his son, Garren of Glendale, AZ; one daughter, Kelly Riley and her two sons, Austin and Owen Dubuque of Mooers Forks; one brother, Paul Riley and his wife Cathy of New Jersey; two sisters, Pam Joseph and her husband Terry of Peasleeville and Brenda Knoll and her husband Mike of South Dakota. He is also survived by other friends, Mike Beebe and Raymond and Michael Beebe.
