Scott A. Snide

 Scott A. Snide, 58 of Mooers Forks passed away Monday, April 22, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. 

He was born May 18, 1960, the son of Joseph and Theresa Snide.  He was a retired corrections officer from Bare Hill Correctional in Malone and the owner of S & S Monitor Heating and Gentle Breeze Air Conditioning.  He loved riding his Harley, playing golf and spending time with his family and friends. 

Scott was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Snide, Jr.

Left to cherish memories of Scott are his son, Shayne Clinebell and Kelsie Connor of Mooers Forks; his daughter, Stephanie Snide and Karie Matthews of Mooers Forks; his mother, Theresa Snide of Mooers Forks; four brothers, Todd Snide and his wife Maureen of Mooers Forks, Joey Snide and his wife Mary of Altona, Michael Snide and his wife Amanda of Chazy, Kelly Snide and his companion Hope LaForest of Altona; two sisters, Debbie Miner and her husband Phalon of Ellenburg Depot, Sheila Trombley and her husband Bruce of Ellenburg Center; one grandson, Sylas Clinebell; nine nieces and eight nephews.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 24, 2019 from 2:00-7:00 at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edmund’s Church in Ellenburg.  Memorial donations may be made to Fitzpatrick Cancer Center or Hospice of the North Country.
