Agnes A. LaPointe

Agnes A.(Brown) LaPointe of Binghamton, NY passed away July 21, 2021 at the Elizabeth Church Manor Nursing Home in Binghamton, NY at the age of 85.

She graduated valedictorian from St. Mary’s in Champlain.  She worked at General Electric for 35 years in Johnson City, NY and then continued as a receptionist for a local doctor.  She loved her Yankees, knitting, shopping and her Ballantine XXX. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold; a sister and brother in law, Roger and Ann Davison.  

Survivors include her brother, Alan Brown (Judy Lawyer) of Champlain, NY; her son, Gary LaPointe (Pat Sroka) of Binghamton; one granddaughter, Whitney Kufel (Joe) and three great grandchildren, Colton, Miles and Avery Kufel of Buffalo, NY.  She also had many nieces and nephews.   

A graveside service will be Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Mooers.  

Arrangements are in the care of the Ross Funeral Home, 2586 US-11 Mooers.
