Albert “Bert” Lawrence, Jr.

With Sadness, we announce the passing of Albert (Bert) C. Lawrence Jr. Bert was born in Schenectady, NY on November 18, 1941, to  Albert & Anna Lawrence. He attended school in New Haven, CT, where he  received his diploma. Bert’s trade was a mechanic, as he loved working on  vehicles. Bert loved his cat, Morris and having a cold beer. He loved to joke  around and be the life of the party. Bert was a very social person with an  outgoing personality, he never met a stranger.  

Bert died unexpectedly just before his 81st birthday. Albert was a lifelong  resident of the north country. He loved life and had a hell of a ride in his short  80 years. He loved to fish, camp, and listen to country music.  

Bert is survived by two children, daughter, Deborah Lawrence Ellsworth & husband, Paul, and a son, Bert Lawrence, both of Lake Placid. Bert had 4  grandchildren, Anthony Lawrence, Sara Ellsworth, Frankie Lawrence, &  Emma Lawrence all of Lake Placid.  

Bert was an only child but had a cousin whom he considered, his brother, Almon J. Lawrence Sr. (AL) Bert and Al were two years apart, but they were  inseparable growing up. Bert had a special bond with his niece, Candi  Lawrence LaFountain (Baby Girl), daughter to Al. 

Bert is predeceased by both his parents Albert Lawrence Sr. & Anna Lawrence, his son, Frankie Lawrence, whom was 2-weeks old, and a  great nephew, Richard LaFountain Jr.  

Bert is the last of his generation of Lawrence’s to pass on, and he will be  greatly missed by all.  

Bert’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 2 pm,
