Alice Pauline Mossey passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 91 years old. A truly beloved mother and grandmother, she is survived by her four children - Derek and his wife, Lisa, Shauna, Vance and his wife, Dorothy, and Jason. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jessica, Jenna, Andrea, Sophia, Kyra, Jacob, Julia, and Hunter, and her great-grandchildren, Julianna and Celine. 

Alice was born November 16, 1934, to Paul and Mary Bundza. She spent her early years residing in Montreal until settling in Rouses Point, where she raised her four kids and lived the remainder of her life. Alice worked her career as a teacher, both in Montreal and NCCS. She loved being part of the Champlain Literary Club, spending mornings with her “coffee shop” crew, helping prep for the RPFD chicken BBQ, and spending countless hours on the North Country Golf Club course. 

Known as Baba to some and Mrs. Mossey to others, Alice had a way of making everyone feel like part of her family from the moment you met her. Anyone that knew her knew she was full of life and love. Flowers always brightened her day, whether it be spontaneous bouquets or her own flower gardens. She had a love of golf that carried down generations and if there was a dance floor (or not), you’d be sure to find her dancing to the music with the biggest smile. Alice loved a friendly football rivalry and took pride in supporting her loved ones in all their school games. 

A graveside ceremony will be held on May 15, 2026, at 3:30 at St. Patrick's Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at North Country Golf Club on the Hayford Road in Champlain. Alice will be deeply missed by all, but her memories and legacy will always remain.
