Anna Langlois Obituary

On September 30, 2023, Anna Marie Langlois, 40, of Rouses Point, New York passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.

Anna was born in Plattsburgh, New York to Russell and Pamela Gadway who loved their daughter dearly. Anna graduated from Northeastern Clinton Central High School in 2001. She was a 2006 graduate of Plattsburgh State University with a master’s degree in education. That October, she married her high school sweetheart, Brent Langlois. Anna began her career teaching in Yuma, Arizona before returning home and beginning her 15-year career as an educator at Northeastern Clinton Central School. Teaching truly was Anna's passion, and she undoubtedly made a lasting impact on both her students and her school colleagues.

Anna’s life was full of family, friendship and fun. She was outgoing, made friends everywhere she went, and had a smile that could light up any room. She cherished being a mother and a wife. Anna instilled the importance of kindness, compassion, family and love in her children, and these are lessons they will take with them always. She loved great conversations, games, binge-watching shows, the outdoors, especially the beach, vacations with her family, and cheering on her children in everything they did. Anna loved life and maximized each day. Above all, Anna loved her family more than anything.

Anna is predeceased by her brother Brandon; paternal grandparents Lawrence and Geneva Gadway; maternal grandparent, Gary Neale; her uncles Paul Cloutier and Lawrence Gadway Jr.; and, her aunt Barbara Braun.

Anna is survived by her husband of sixteen years, Brent, and their two wonderful children, Allie Marie and Evan Thomas; her parents Russell and Pamela (Rochester) Gadway; her brothers and their wives, Herm and Martha, Tyler and Heather, and, Bryce and Andrea; her grandparents James Rochester and Doris Neale; her father and mother-in-law, Ronald and Lori Langlois; her brother-in-law Jason and his wife Jen; sister-in-law Dana and her husband Chad; all of her nieces and nephews; and, many aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

Anna was the shining light in everyone’s lives and her beautiful smile was infectious. Everyone who met her loved her and she will be forever missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, 138 Lake Street, Rouses Point, at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023. A private burial and reception will immediately follow.
