Betty J. Robert

Betty J Robert, 86 Formerly of Mooers passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the Clinton County Nursing Home. 

She was born January 22, 1934 in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Delbert and Lana Garrow.  She married Hubert Robert May 9, 1953.  She worked at several places. Most recently at Mooers Elementary School. 

She enjoyed playing BINGO, daily walks and dancing.  Her favorite thing was time with her family and she loved Christmas.

Betty was predeceased by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Linda Lewis and her husband, Jim as well as several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish memories for Betty are her children, Harold Roberts of Rouses Point, NY,  Sharlene Stone and her husband, Robert of Plattsburgh, NY, Stanley Roberts and his companion, Sue Nichols of Ellenburg Center, NY, Larry Roberts and his wife, Kathy of Plattsburgh, NY, Shirley Poissant and her husband Gilles of Rosemere, Quebec; five grandchildren, Jason Poissant, Matthew Roberts, Kristopher Roberts, Ashley Roberts and Alyssa Stone.  Betty is further survived by one great grandchild, Emerson Roberts.

Her family is very thankful to the nurses, staff and administrators of Clinton County Nursing Home for that several years of excellent care and friendship.

Due to the Covid-19 crisis, funeral services will be private.
