Bonita (Nichols) Sharlow, 77, of Plattsburgh, passed away July 6, 2024, at Meadow Brook Nursing Home.
She was born in Malone, New York, on June 16, 1947, to Clarence and Gertrude Nichols and grew up on their farm in Churubusco, New York.
Bonnie had been a caregiver all her life, working as a nurse’s assistant at both Alice Hyde and CVPH Hospitals.
She had many happy years and was able to do some traveling with her loving husband Harold Sharlow before his passing.
Despite health complications, Bonnie found herself at Meadow Brook Nursing Home, a place where she was not just a resident, but a beloved member of the community. She enjoyed playing Bingo, always looked out for everyone’s best interest, and spent her days caring for her friends.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter Kim (Randy) Bosley and their children Brett (Susannah) Bosley, and Tyler Bosley. She also leaves behind her son Todd Hall, her brothers Eddie (Beverly) Nichols, Darrell (Kim) Nichols, and Tommy (Anita) Nichols, as well as her nephews Timmy, Jason, Brad, Adam, and Josh. She lives on in the hearts of numerous loving family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on July 28, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hemlock Ridge, 321 Brandy Brook Road, Ellenburg Center, New York.
