Carol A. Hand

Carol A. Hand, 69, of Rouses Point, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 at her home.

Carol was born December 28, 1955, in Providence, Rhode Island, the daughter of Paul and Patricia (Howe) Lynch.

The titles Carol A. Hand will always be remembered as: Wife, Mom, Momma, Golden, Goldie, ‘Olden, Vocational Coordinator, Catholic, Mercy Associate, Candle Lighter, Cantor and Friend. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Patricia (Howe) Lynch; a son, Stephen Joseph Kuzoian Hand; and a brother, David Lynch.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Sarkis Hand; a son, Sarkis (Erin) Hand of Groton, VT; daughters, Meredith Brownfield of Rutland, VT, Jennifer (Aaron) Dion of Rouses Point and Laurie (John) Wetherbee of Plainfield, CT; brothers, Paul Lynch and his life partner, Connie McCulley and Kevin (Patricia) Lynch; a step-sister, Dory-Lynn Malloy; and grandchildren, Meghan, Liam, Aiden Paul, Molly, Aiden Michael, Stephen, Rose, Lilly and Isabel.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home, 196 Elm Street, Champlain. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s Church in Rouses Point at 11:00 a.m on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
