Clarence J. LaFountain

Clarence J. LaFountain 76 of Mooers Forkes passed away July 16, 2020 at UVM Health Network at CVPH.
He was born December 6, 1943 in Mooers Forks, the son of Norman and Lillian (Lashway) LaFountain.
He was a retired roofer and a huge family man. His family was everything to him and loved having them
around him at all times. He loved his hunting camp and to hunt deer, off roading and golfing.
Clarence was predeceased by his parents, Norman LaFountain Sr. and Lillian LaFountain; sister Mildred
and Donald Lashway, brother Norman LaFountain survived by his wife Sandra LaFountain, brother
Ronald LaFountain survived by his wife Gladys LaFountain, brother Kenneth and Lorraine LaFountain,
Maynard “Bucky LaFountain but survived by his wife Wanda LaFountain, brother Wayne LaFountain
survived by his wife Peggy LaFountain, brother Larry LaFountain survived by his wife Linda LaFountain,
nephew Corey LaFountain, his brother in law Willard and sister in law Linda Meseck, brother in law
Wilfred Meseck, sister in law Kim Meseck and nephew Michael Mark.
Left to cherish memories of Clarence are his wife of 54 years Paulette LaFountain, daughter Kimberly
Desch and her life partner, Jim Varin, son Craig LaFountain and wife Stephanie LaFountain; one beloved
granddaughter, Tylar LaFountain; two grandsons, Logan LaFountain and Troy LaFountain as well as one
beloved great grandson Brylee LaFountain. He is further survived by one brother Gerald LaFountain and
wife Loretta LaFountain, brother in law Arthur Meseck and wife Carol, sister in law Sylvia Fiest and
husband Larry, sister in law Kathy Mark and husband Bill, brother in law Joe Meseck, sister in law Lola
Miller and husband Tim, brother in law Tim Meseck, brother in law Jerry Meseck and wife Jamie and
brother in law Paul Meseck and his wife Emily. He has many nieces and nephews that he cherished
deeply.
Calling hours will be Monday, July 20 th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Ross Funeral Home in Mooers. A funeral
service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at Ross Funeral Home with Deacan Tyrone Rabideau celebrating.
