Clarence Patrie

Clarence William Patrie, age 84, passed away on December 22, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Plattsburgh in 1937 to Walton and Jeanette Babbie Patrie. 

Ever a craftsman, he dedicated his life and skills to building, making, and repairing for loved ones and strangers alike. Be it a child’s toy or a home’s roof, Clarence was always generous with his time and abilities to help when needed.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Brooks Patrie; son, Jason and wife, Leslie; and his granddaughter, Elle, the apple of his eye. Additionally, he is survived by one brother, Richard Patrie of Florida; sister-in-law, Myra Patrie of Michigan; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. 

He is predeceased by his parents and eldest brother, Walton.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service due to the Covid pandemic. There will be a burial service held later in the spring.
