Debelain Burbage Jefferson

Debelain Burbage Jefferson of Rouses Point passed away August 12, 2019 surrounded by her family.

She was born February 18, 1951 and grew up in Oak Ridge, TN.  She is predeceased by her mother, Margaret Alice Wills Bond, and father, Charles Henry Burbage.  She is survived by her step-dad, Dr. Arthur D. Bond; her husband, C. Paul Jefferson, Step-children, Nichole Jefferson Bedard (Stacy) and Derrick Jefferson (Kimberly); grandchildren, Callie and Callan Bedard; one sister, Chalice Burbage Bigelow (Phillip). 

Her sly wit, infectious giggle and tender heart will be sorely missed. 

The family of Debelain wishes to extend a special thanks to Dr. Vaccaro of Fitzpatrick Cancer Center and CVPH R7 staff, both of Plattsburgh, NY, who went above and beyond. 

A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, August 17th at 10:00 a.m. at Three Steeples United Methodist Church in Champlain.  Interment will follow. 

Donations may be made in her name to the Cleveland Clinic Heart Center which helped to give her a good life for most of these last 17 years.  They are much appreciated.
