Debra A. Rabideau, born on August 6, 1959, in Plattsburgh, NY, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on September 13, 2025, at the age of 66. She has now joined her lifetime companion, Ernest "Cheenis" Gay.
Debra was a dedicated home health aide, known for her compassionate care and unwavering commitment. It was a reflection of her nurturing spirit and her desire to support those in need. She lived to care for those in her community, especially for her grandchildren.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Shirley Vincent; grandparents, Rita and Hank Parrotte; and siblings, Faye Parrotte, Henry Parrotte, and Daniel Vincent.
She is survived by her beloved children: Natasha Lashway (Rob), Jamie Rabideau and his wife, Alissa, Sherry Rogers and her husband, Chris, Tiffany Bolia (Josh), and Faith Guerin (Andrew); four step-children; as well as seven step-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren. Debra cherished her family deeply, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of her children and the countless lives she touched throughout her life.
Debra is also survived by her cherished siblings: James Vincent and his wife, Ann, Gerald Vincent and his wife, Loretta, Joy Vassar, and Cynthia Vincent with her sister-in-law, Tina, and Shirley Savage who was like a sister to Debra. She loved her ten grandchildren and her four great-grandchildren. Together, they shared countless memories that will be fondly remembered.
As her family reflects on Debra's life, they remember her as a loving mother, a doting grandmother, and a fierce friend. Her warmth, humor, and kindness brought joy to everyone she met, and her spirit will forever resonate within the hearts of those who loved her. Debra loved taking care of anyone, playing bingo, watching her hummingbirds, listening to her wind chimes and watching love movies with Shirley.
Though she has departed, the love and memories of Debra Rabideau will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
