Dennis J. Gregory

Dennis J. Gregory, 67 of Ellenburg Center passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 10, 2020 at the UVM Health Network at CVPH in Plattsburgh.

He was born August 13, 1952 in Plattsburgh, the son of Martin and Margaret (Derosia) Gregory.  He worked at Imperial Mill in Plattsburgh until his retirement.  Dennis was an avid outdoorsman, he could often be seen riding his four wheeler, collecting sap in the spring, cutting firewood in the summer, hunting in the fall and making wreaths in the winter.  He enjoyed wood working, gardening and loved spending time with his grandsons.   He truly lived his life his way.

Dennis was predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Sherry Gregory; two nephews, Lee Carter, Jr. and Cary Gregory and one brother in law, Fred Fridley.

Left to cherish memories of Dennis are his wife, Dawn Gregory of Ellenburg Center; one son, Jessie Gregory and his wife Kristie of Altona; one daughter, Nicole Wray of Glens Falls; two step sons, Chad Barber and his wife Kerri of Plattsburgh and Thomas Couture and his wife Leila of Texas; one brother, Martin Gregory Jr. and his wife Betty of Ellenburg Center; two sisters, Diane Fridley of Virginia and Donna Nephew and her husband Roger of West Chazy.  He is also survived by five grandsons, Kaleb, Hunter, Ethan, Connor and Bradley as well as nieces and nephews.

Due to current health concerns, services will be held at a later date.
