Diane M. Marks

Diane Marie Marks, 82 of Rouses Point passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.  

She was born March 1, 1941 in Rouses Point, the daughter of Medos and Eva (Henner) Gebo.  Diane loved her pets and all animals, she enjoyed cooking for her family, playing BINGO, cards, dice, her spa days and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Robert Marks who passed away in 2009; two grandsons, Nicholas Roberts and Adam Poquette; three sisters, Pauline Bernard, Claire Averill and Beatrice St. Pierre and many fur babies.

Left to cherish memories of Diane are her children, Todd and Mary Anne Marks, Kevin and Donna Marks, Darlene and Allen Poquette, Gail and Robbie Roberts, Robert Jr. and Jaylan Marks and Matthew and Christina Marks; 19 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; one sister, Yvette Gebo and two sisters in law, Joan Pavao and Patricia Watson.  She also leaves her cat Minnie Moo “Baby Girl”.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 21, 2023 at St. Mary’s Church in Champlain at 11:30 a.m.  Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.  Following the burial, the family invites friends and family to a celebration of Diane’s life at the V.F.W. in Champlain.
