Donald R. Gilpin, 66, of Rouses Point passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

 

Donald was born June 3, 1958 in Plattsburgh, the son of Ralph and Theresa (Duffy) Gilpin.

 

Donald worked at Ray’s Appliance in Rouses Point for many years. He had a camp in Mooers where he loved to spend his time.

 

Donald was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Theresa; and a brother-in-law, Greg Pease.

 

He is survived by a daughter, Jessica Weeks and Chris; five sisters, Ann Choiniere and Ralph of Rouses Point, Barbara Pease of Rouses Point, Judy Dupee and Edward of Mooers, Jane Gilpin of Rouses Point and Carol Shannon of Noyan, Quebec; four grandchildren, Addison Gilpin, Coleton Weeks, Karah Weeks and Kenna Weeks; as well as two great grandchildren.

 

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a burial to follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rouses Point.
