Donald J. Snide

Donald J. Snide, 86 of Churubusco passed away February 25, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. 

He was born to Edward and Pearl (Hough) Snide.  He served in the U. S. Army and worked at the New York State Department of Transportation for 30 years.  He was an avid hunter and sportsman.

Don was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Ann (Dupree) Snide.  She passed away November 9, 2019. 

Left to cherish memories of Don are his children, Roxanne Boadway and her friend, Daniel Day of Malone, N.Y.; Paul J. Snide and his wife, Rose (Vassar) Snide of Churubusco, N. Y.; one granddaughter, Danielle Snide-Monette and her husband, Jesse of Churubusco, N. Y. Donald was further survived by three great grandchildren, Trent Snide, Haven Haselton and Rosalee Monette.

Don had six brothers and one sister.  He had a wonderful smile and was loved by many.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers.  Calling hours will follow until 7:00 p.m.
