Doris Reyor

Doris Reyor, 94, of Chazy Lake passed away peacefully on September 10, 2023 at UVM Health Network CVPH.  She was born in Plattsburgh, July 19, 1929. Doris joined her loved ones; her parents Anita and Cleve Vincent, Herbert and Hubert Reyor, her sister Judy Lapoint, brothers Gerald and Melvin Vincent.

Left the cherish her is, her daughter Karen (Joe), her sons Ricky, Kevin (Debbie), Mark (Bea), Ruth and Leonard Reyor, Marilyn Vincent, sisters Marge Lentz, Sharron Perry, and a special relationship with her niece Cyndi Woodard, several nieces, nephews and neighborhood friends. Grandchildren; Nathan, Mitchell, Ricky, Magen, Heidi, Nicholas, Paige, and several great grandchildren. 

After retirement from Diamond International, she traveled to Ireland, Alaska, Maine, Nashville, Arizona, and South Carolina.   Doris lived a full life and could be found at her home on Chazy Lake, and she was blessed to spend her winters in Florida for many years.  

Family and friends gathered on her deck for a pot of spaghetti and laughter.  Doris was a role model for healthy eating and daily exercise and inspired us all.  Doris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, a sister, aunt, wife, and loving neighbor.  You could see Doris enjoying the beautiful Adirondacks in all seasons at the lake. She loved to walk the Wilfred King Road, go cross country skiing, swimming, and boating.  One of her favorite pastimes was playing pinochle with her sisters.  On any given day Doris could be found under the trees in her hammock, gazing at the lake, listening to the loons with her dog Mika at her side.

A celebration of her life will be held at Whispering Maples Memorial Garden in Ellenburg Depot on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 11:00 am.
