WEST CHAZY-Ethan E. Colgan, 84 passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at his home.

He was born March 9, 1933 in Mooers Forks, NY to Ellsworth and Helen (Brooks) Colgan.

He is survived by one brother and sister in law, Donald and Rose Colgan of Mooers Forks; and a sister, Janice Colgan of West Chazy, NY.

Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Wayna (Colgan) Barto.  He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews that he had great pride in. 

Ethan was a lifelong resident of Mooers Forks, NY.  He owned and operated, along with his brother, the Colgan Brothers Dairy Farm for over 50 years.  He was an avid NASCAR and wrestling fan. 

There are no calling hours or funeral services.  He was laid to rest at Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens in Ellenburg Depot, NY.  A memorial service will be arranged at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the North Country in Plattsburgh, NY.
