Eve M. Cole

Eve Marie Cole, 49, of Burke, passed away Tuesday January 28, 2025 at her home.

Eve was born November 13, 1975, in Plattsburgh, the daughter of Gary Pickering and Alice Lemieux.

Eve enjoyed crafting of all sorts. She also loved animals, especially horses. Eve at an early age was given the nickname “Runt” from her father whom will miss her dearly.

Eve is predeceased by her mother, Alice Lemieux; and nephew, Dustin Pickering.

Eve is survived by her father, Gary Pickering and his wife Cynthia of Mooers Forks; her fiancé, Darien Peck of Burke; her daughter, Brittany Bernard and her fiancé, Jamie Dunning of Colten; brother, Adam Pickering of Rouses Point; and niece, Courtney Renae Pickering of Plattsburgh.

A donation in memory of Eve can be made to the ASPCA.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Rouses Point. A celebration of life will follow at the VFW on the St. John’s Road in Champlain at 1:00 p.m. Sandwiches will be provided.
