Francis L. Vancour Obituary
ALTONA-Francis L. Vancour, 67 of Altona passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at the CVPH Medical Center.
He was born July 14, 1949 in Champlain, the son of Lester and Lydia (Manor) Vancour. He was a truck driver for several companies through the years. Francis loved fishing and tinkering with cars.
He is predeceased by his parents.
Survivors include, his companion, Mary Jane Peryea of Altona; three sons, Shawn Vancour and his wife Robin of Champlain, Travis Vancour and his wife Kristina of Mooers, Francis Vancour, Jr.; one daughter, Penny Vancour of Plattsburgh; two sisters, Melody Choiniere and her husband David of West Virginia and Sandra Vancour of Plattsburgh. Francis is also survived by 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and his long-time friend, Henry Cardin.
Service details are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date by the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers.
