Garfield Sorrell Sr. 85, passed away with his family by his side on November 6th, 2023 at UVM Health Network - CVPH in Plattsburgh. 

 

He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on January 19th, 1938. He was the son of William Boulerice and Rita Sorrell Boulerice. 

 

Garfield was a very handy builder and most knew him from working at Overhead Doors for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors and was always on the go. He also enjoyed time with his mini, Lexi. 

 

He is survived by his children; Donna and William Leduc of Champlain, Gary and Marsha Sorrell of Altona, Larry and Donna Sorrell of Champlain, Tammy and Anthony Cameira of Hemmingford, QC, Paula and Albert Ashline of Mooers, James Sorrell of Tulsa, OK, Crystal Aja of Mooers, and Garfield Sorrell Jr. of Comstock, NY, a brother Leonard Boulerice of Chazy, 23 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. 

 

He is predeceased by his sister Ramona Grimshaw and brother Eldermore Boulerice, as well as his wives Marion Richard and Mina Sorrell. 

 

Per his wishes, there will be no services.
