Gerald P. Varin, “Jerry”, 70, of 29 Pleasant Street, Dannemora, NY passed away Friday, August 11th. Jerry attended Clarkson University. He worked as a supervisor for Copeland Coating in Albany and then for Bouyea Fassetts Company as Superintendent of Shipping and Distribution for the New York and Burlington plants.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Sherry (Patnode), his daughter Lynne (Jeff) Seymour, his step-daughters Nancy (John) Hoyt and Laura DuBray, his sisters Connie (Steve) Nephew and Doris Bryan, his brother-in-laws James, Jerry, and Patrick (Cynthia) Patnode, his sister-in-law Marybeth Gebo, his grandson Brandon DuBray, his granddaughters Madison DuBray, Erin Fitzsimmons, Andrea Hoyt, Claire and Paige Seymour, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jerry is predeceased by his parents Philip and Margaret Varin, his father and mother-in-law, Francis and Arlene Patnode, brother-in-laws Donald Patnode and James Gebo, sister-in-law Robin Patnode and son-in-law Steven DuBray.
There will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the discretion of the family at a later date. Donations may be made to the Dannemora Fire Department.
