Gladys J. Hilliker, of Route 9 in Champlain, died Friday, July 24, 2026, at her home under the care of family and Hospice of the North Country.

She was born in Mooers Forks on May 10, 1935, the daughter of William and Leona (Rabideau) Manor.

She married Raymond Hilliker, he preceded her in death.

Gladys worked at a few different industries until she retired from NCCS in 2003.

Gladys is survived by her daughter, Brenda (William) Bertrand of Altona; son, Calvin (Darlene) Hilliker of Champlain, and Tracey Hilliker of Champlain. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Randy and Cheryl; grandchildren, Jennifer, Andrew, Becky, Conley, April and Melissa; and great grandchildren, Stephen, Hunter, Jay, Kloe, Keegan, Coty, Taylor, Sierra, Michael, Lydia and Easton.

She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond Hilliker; son, Terry Hilliker; stepson, Wayne Hilliker; grandson, Jason Hilliker; siblings, Norma Antley, Ernest Manor, Kenneth Manor, Beulah Furnia, Homer Manor and Eldmour Manor; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, from 2pm to 4pm at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers. A funeral service will take place on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 2:30pm at the Town of Ellenburg Mausoleum.
