ROUSES POINT-Henry C. VanAcker, Jr. 74, of Rouses Point passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
He was born July 1, 2017 in Plattsburgh, the son of Dr. Henry and Marion (Barney) VanAcker. He served in the U. S. Navy. Henry was a well-known attorney in the area and had his office in Rouses Point. He also was a race car driver. During his racing years he was known as the racing magistrate at Airborne Speedway. More recently he set up his own trucking company.
He is survived by his cousins and several friends and neighbors.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St, Patrick's Church in Rouses Point at a time and date to be announced.
Arrangements are in the care of the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers.
