John P. Guay, 53, of Rouses Point, N.Y., passed away at his home on June 17, 2020.
John was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y. He graduated from NCCS in 1986. He was an avid fisherman who loved spending time on Lake Champlain. John took great pride in his work as a carpenter for a local company. He enjoyed spending time with family, ice skating, fishing, hunting, and gardening.
He is predeceased by both sets of grandparents, Theresa MacCallum, Wilfred Lemieux, Helene Guay and Emile Guay.
John is survived by his mother and father, Kathy and Vincent Guay; one sister and her husband, Lee Anne and Mark Lawrence; his children Jeremy Guay and his girlfriend Jillian Lacount, Jennifer Guay and her husband Joel Grimes, James Beatty, Melisa Young and her husband Stephen Young. John loved his six grandchildren: Vince, Carter, Henry, Victoria (Tooney), Brantley and Aubreigh.
His presence will be missed by all, but his legacies will be continued by his family.
Calling hours will be held at Ross Funeral Home in Mooers, N.Y., on Wednesday, June 24th, from 4 to 7 p.m.; masks will be required.
