ELLENBURG DEPOT-John C. Guerin, 29 of Ellenburg Depot passed away unexpectedly at the CVPH Medical Center on May 25, 2017.
John was a high school graduate from Northern Adirondack and CV-Tec in 2006 with degrees in fabricating, welding, painting and windshield replacement. He was previously employed at Jeffords Steel, World Warehouse and several other side jods. John loved his family and friends and he had a great passion for Ford Mustangs, four wheelers and playing pool. He loved living for today.
John is predeceased by his father, John H. Guerin, his maternal grandparents, Homer and Jacqueline LaValley; paternal grandparents, Edward and Bertha Guerin, an aunt, Rebecca Clausen, two uncles, Larry Guerin and Gary Guerin and his dog, Shelby.
John is survived by his mother, Betty LaValley and her companion Barbara Guerin of Ellenburg Depot; Barbara was also known as his Godmother and aunt; his companion, Maggie Lamere of Ellenburg Depot; 11 aunts, Stella and Raymond Perry of Altona, Debbie and Tim Lord of Chateaugay, Sheila and Rusty Dupee of Mooers, Connie and Danny Russell of Plattsburgh, Barbara Guerin of Ellenburg Depot, Loretta and Jerry Vincent of Altona, Brenda and Sam Bisonet of Chazy, Pam and Red Provost of Ellenburg Center, Shirley and Herbert (Dobbie) Guerin of Altona, Joyce and Bill Dupee of Burke, Patti and Joe McGillicuddy of Burke; eight uncles, Edward Guerin of Mooers, Donald and Brenda Guerin of Ellenburg Depot, David and Sonny Guerin of Ellenburg Depot, Victor and Donna Guerin of Schuyler Falls, Henry Guerin of Ellenburg Depot, Howard and Mary Guerin of Ellenburg Depot, Donald and Marina LaValley of Liverpool, Jerry and Kathy LaValley of Brushton and several cousins. He is also survived by a very special young man that has touched his heart so deeply, Markus Walker of Plattsburgh.
Calling hours will be Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 2:00 - 5:00 p. m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers.
