John Riese (JR) of Ellenburg NY passed away peacefully on April 29 th with family by his side.
John was born July 10, 1942 Son of Leo and Marion Patrick Riese.

John is survived by his partner Nancy Gonyo, his daughter April (David) Arana, Grandchildren
Savannah Minor of Corinth, David Arana(17), Daelyn Arana (17), Aisha Arana (14) and John
Arana (12) all of Greenwich NY, Nancy’s family - Mary (Kevin) Rivers of Plattsburgh, Thomas
(Lorinda) Gonyo and Sara (Dean) Gonyo of Chazy.

He had a special love for all of his nieces and nephews. Especially Pam McCoy, Harold
Southworth, Bryan Christman and his Best friend Sharon Sawyer all of Worcester NY.

John loved to spend time with his family, his grandchildren and his buddy Copper. His favorite
past times were hunting, maple syruping, dancing, and being at the farm spending time with
friends.

At John’s request, there will be no calling hours. Following cremation, his ashes will be taken to
his final resting place in Worcester NY.
