Joseph C. Hack III, 64, of Mooers, New York, passed away on June 27, 2026, at CVPH in Plattsburgh. Born on October 27, 1961, in Amsterdam, NY, Joseph lived a life dedicated to his family and his passion for the auto parts industry.
As the owner of Valley Ignition in Mooers, Joseph made a significant impact on his community and built lasting relationships with both customers and colleagues. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality service.
Joseph is survived by his children: Joseph, Christopher and his wife Courtney, Nathan, and Alana Hack; as well as five grandchildren. He was proud to be their father and grandfather, and they will carry his memory forward. His love extended beyond family; he also had a passion for watching sports and keeping an eye on the stock market, often engaging in spirited discussions about both with those around him.
In accordance with Joseph's wishes, there will be no calling hours.
Joseph will be remembered for his kind spirit, his dedication to his work, and the joy he brought to those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Hack II and Joan Hack.
