June A. Matott, 92, of Champlain, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Meadowbrook Healthcare in Plattsburgh.
She was born May 10, 1932, to Lawrence and Della (Young) Cote, in Churubusco.
June worked at the Grand Union in Champlain for many years. She enjoyed bowling and golf, and June was an avid reader.
June is predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Matott and her children, Catherine (Bruce) Larson, Robin Bechard and companion Hank Forette, Timothy (Debra), and Christopher (Donna); brother, Stephen Cote (Nell); sister, Sr. Bonita Cote; as well as 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Church in Coopersville at 1:00p.m. A reception will follow at the St. Mary’s Church Hall.
A memorial donation may be made to the Clinton County Council of the Aging.
