Kevin P Forette

Kevin P. Forette, 59 of Mooers passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born May 20, 1960, the son of Leonard and Bernice (Tetreault) Forette.   He was a finish carpenter.  His work can be seen all over the North Country.  He enjoyed woodworking and carpentry, playing guitar, getting together with friends and family; and he also enjoyed golfing.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Kevin was predeceased by his father and one sister, Pam Johnson.

Left to cherish memories of Kevin are his grandmother, Violet Tetreault of Mooers; his mother, Bernice Forette of Mooers; his wife of 37 years, Rosemary of Mooers, one son, Christopher Forette of Mooers; one daughter, Heather Williams and her husband, Mike of Dannemora; one brother, Todd Forette and his wife, Marsha of Mooers Forks; four grandchildren, Micaela, Sean, Adam and Austin; two aunts, Pat LaPlante and Barbara Chapman; many brothers and sisters in law and a special  "brother in law", Paul Dupee of Champlain; a very close cousin, Donn LaPlante; several nieces and nephews as well as  a woman who he thought of as a daughter, Pam LaPlante of Mooers.

Kevin's family will be meeting for lunch before the services at 186 Bashaw Road, Mooers, NY 12958Calling hours will be Monday, October 14th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers.  A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home. 

Memorial donations may be made to the family of Kevin to disperse as they wish.
