Lee F. Dupee, 60 of West Chazy passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 at his home.
He was born September 8, 1958 in Plattsburgh, the son of Leon and Marie (Glaude) Dupee. He was an Eagle Scout and his hobbies included camping, fishing, puttering around with wood work, gardening and playing with his best buddy, his dog Zorro. He worked at AN Deringer, he was previously self-employed with Mac Tools, he worked in retail management and was most recently employed at Harbor Freight.
Lee was predeceased by his grandparents; his father, Leon Dupee, who passed away in 2003; several aunts and uncles and his close friend, Tom Massey.
Left to cherish memories of Lee are his fiancée and lifelong love, Diane Laurin of West Chazy; his mother, Marie Dupee of Champlain; his beloved dog, Zorro; one brother, Neil Dupee and Cindy of Malone; two sisters, Julie Frennier and her husband Ron of Beekmantown, Tami Richer and her husband Dave of Ogdensburg; two nephews, Adam and Cale Frennier; two nieces, Sarah Richer and Angel Trinique-Dupee; his in-laws, Richard and Betty Laurin and Randy Laurin.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Champlain. There will be an hour of visitation at church prior to the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Coopersville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elmore’s SPCA or St. Joseph’s Cemetery perpetual care fund.
