With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Leigh Ann Lewis, who left this world on September 10, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on August 29, 1963, in Sharon, Connecticut, Leigh was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Whittier Nursing Home in Claverack, New York, where her compassion and nurturing spirit touched the lives of many.

Among her greatest joys were her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Bradley Funk, Kaylee and Caitlyn Flint, Alex, Lizzy and Alana. She held a special place in her heart for her grandson, Dylan Funk, who brought an extra sparkle to her life. She is also survived by her nieces, Marion Warren and Kiera Weigelt, who loved her greatly; great nieces, Alexandria Simpson and Sydney Warren; nephew, Brock Miles; and her best friends, Doris Katon and Georgia Miles.

Leigh Ann will be remembered not only for her dedicated service and love for her family but also for her bright spirit that will be deeply missed.
