Leland Lafave, 66, of Westville, NY., passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2020, at UVM Alice Hyde.
Born in Malone, NY., October, 31, 1954, he was the son of the late Leo and Beulah Lafave Burgess. He attended Salmon River School. Leland owned his own business, LaFave’s Garage until his illness, and closed it down in August.
Leland joined the Army in June 1973 and was discharged in June 1979.
On June 8, 1985 he was united in marriage to the former Susan Burke at Lady Fatima.
Along with his wife, he is survived by a sister and brother, Elayne Ulrich of Manchester, NY. and David Lafave of Branchport, NY. along with several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased bythree brothers, Edward Lafaveof Westville, NY, Carlton LaFave of Westville,NY, and Donald Lafave of Rochester, NY.
There will be no calling hours. A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
