Obituary
Leo E. LaValley, 93, died at his home in Chateaugay on October 9, 2022. He was born in Ellenburg Depot, on December 9, 1928 to Eli Edward LaValley and Jennie Huggins.
He worked at McCadams in Chateaugay until he retired and then delivered The Press Republican for several years.
He is survived by his children Carol (Wallace) Vennette, Ann LaValley, Ronald LaValley, Larry (Tammy) LaValley, Barbara (Richard) Goss, Cora LaValley and Leo LaValley Jr., a brother Kenneth LaValley and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife, Shirley Guerin, His son’s Dennis LaValley and Gary LaValley, His daughter Jane Ann LaValley, His grandsons Kevin LaValley and Bobby Joseph LaValley, Travis LaValley and Gary LaValley Jr. He is also predeceased by his brother Louis LaValley and his sister’s Doris (Homer) Rabideau, Leona (Ronald) Hoose and Marie (Joseph) Comoli.
Funeral arrangements were handled by Ross Funeral Home in Mooers. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery.
