Linda L. Tomah Obituary

Linda L. Tomah, 77, of Champlain, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025 at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

 

Linda was born in Eastport, Maine on April 9, 1948, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Gebo) Huntley.

 

Linda was a Certified Nurses Aide, working in Home Healthcare for many local families. Linda had a special love for her animals, her pets were her pride and joy. She loved playing bingo and solitaire on her phone. Linda especially enjoyed family gatherings.

 

Linda was predeceased by her parents, John and Gertrude (Gebo) Huntley; and her brothers, John Huntley, Robert Huntley and Stanley Huntley.

 

She is survived by her longtime partner, Newell Tomah, Jr.; her son, Newell Tomah III of Mooers Forks; daughters, Mary Dana and Jeffrey of Maine, Pamela Johnson of Champlain and Estella Rose “Rosie” Tomah of Mooers Forks; sisters, Connie Pratt of New Hampshire and Sandra Gallant and Ronald of Maine; nine grandchildren, Ben, James, Amanda, Christina, Andrew, Lexi, Damian, Kayden and Jaxton “J.J.”; 12 great grandchildren; her best friend, Edna Francis; as well as several nieces and nephews.
