Loren L. Ormsbee

Loren L. Ormsbee, 79 of Ellenburg Center passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at UVM Health Network at CVPH.  

He was born June 12, 1942 in Ellenburg, the son of Casey and Genevieve (Monette) Ormsbee.  

Loren was predeceased by his parents; one son, Loren Lee Ormsbee and one grandson, Mark Burgoyne.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine Ormsbee of Rouses Point; her children, Rodney and Robin Ormsbee of Morrisonville, Crystal and Larry Cooney of Mooers, Peter Ormsbee of Ellenburg Center, Judy and David Cartier of Rouses Point, Julie Ormsbee-Monahan of Johns Island, SC and Daniel and Jo Ann Ormsbee of Mooers; three sisters, Betty Demers and her husband Clifford of Champlain, Judy Rabideau and her husband Gary of Mooers and Pamela Gregory and her husband Robin of Champlain.  He is further survived by eight grandchildren, Gary Burgoyne, Jr., Loren Burgoyne, Alyssa Ormsbee, John Ormsbee, Daniel Ormsbee, Jr., Trenton Ormsbee, Alexander Cartier and Jessica Cartier.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 7, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Ross Funeral Home in Mooers.  A funeral service will follow at 11:00 at the Ross Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Ellenburg Center.  A reception will follow at the American Legion in Rouses Point.
