Mary Jane Peryea, 76, of Mooers, passed away May 28, 2024 at CVPH Medical Center.
She was born March 24, 1948, in St. Albans, VT, to Florence Bodette.
Mary was a member of the Altona Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary as well as being an EMT for many years. She also worked for Delegar in Champlain as a line and production worker. Mary was a lover of animals, she enjoyed going to deer camp. She was also always quick to help people out.
Mary is predeceased by her mom, Florence.
She is survived by her sons, Howard, Tuffield (Andrea), James (Clara), and John; her daughter, Jennifer Bouyea and companion Norm LaDuke; sister, Beulah King; grandchildren, Debbie, Sabrena, Terri, John, Parris, Akaisha and Jonnlei; and three great grandchildren.
Calling Hours are Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home, 2586 State Route 11, Mooers, NY, 12958. A Graveside Service will follow at 4:30p.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Champlain.
