Mary Ellen Aubrey, 92, of Rouses Point, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at home with her family.
Daughter of Edward Kennedy and Isabelle Morris, Mary Ellen was born February 9, 1932 in Albany.
Mary Ellen worked for the City of Albany in the City Marshall's Office, the Department of Water, City of Albany Police Department, and retired from the Facilities Development Corp.
She loved to dance with North Country Squares in her spare time. She also volunteered her time wherever she found help was needed. Mary Ellen especially loved going on senior trips to anywhere fun.
Mary Ellen is predeceased by her loving husband, Robert R. Aubrey; her parents; and a daughter, Sandra Aubrey.
Mary Ellen is survived by her children, Linda Aubrey, Denise (Joe) Sturgis, Richard Aubrey, Shelley Aubrey, and her grandson she raised, Michael Aubrey; seven grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Rouses Point on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
