Patricia Jean Bedard, 87, formerly of Rouses Point, passed away peacefully at Meadowbrook Healthcare on Sunday, November 23, 2025. She was born in Chazy, NY, on March 13, 1938, the daughter of Alfred and Edith (Barnaby) Manor.

On July 21, 1956, she married Leo Paul Bedard at St. Patrick’s Church in Rouses Point. They were married for 64 years.

Patricia loved to dance. She took the opportunity to do so at many outdoor events and festivals, concerts and parties where the music was good. She could be found doing anything from the two-step to line dancing.

Compassionate and caring, she would gladly give you the shirt off her back. She also enjoyed camping, baking, reading, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. An adventurous spirit, she enjoyed “tramping” the roads as she called it.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Rodarte and her husband Joseph; her son, Marty Bedard and his wife Kathleen; a sister, Catherine Fleming; grandchildren, Victoria, Daniel, Alicia, Christina and Justin; as well as great grandchildren, Hudson and Gracelynn.

Patricia was predeceased by her parents; husband, Leo Bedard; son, Randy Bedard; brother, Frederick Manor; and sisters, Sylvia Faulds, Dorothy Strack, Elizabeth “Betty” Bohannon and Geraldine Duprey.

An hour of calling will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, Lake St., in Rouses Point on Monday, December 1st at 11:00 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to follow at 12 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following at the American Legion, Pratt St., Rouses Point, NY.

A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, May 15, at 3pm at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rouses Point.
