Pauline G Proulx, 87, of Rouses Point, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 16th at Elderwood of Uihlem in Lake Placid, NY.
She was born November 20, 1935, in Chazy, NY, the daughter of Emile and Adele (Landry) Proulx.
Pauline’s love for her family, included helping to raise her sister Jeanne’s children as they were growing up. Pauline spent many years as a cleaner of Saint Joseph’s church in Coopersville.
Pauline had a love for travel and visited many major cities throughout the US with her sister Mary, family, and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and is fondly remembered for the wonderful family gatherings she hosted with her sister Mary. She always enjoyed reading a good book and saying her daily prayers. Her smile & quick wit will forever be embedded in our hearts.
Pauline was predeceased by her parents; one sister Mary Proulx; three brothers, Roger, Albert & Francis Proulx.
She is survived by one sister Jeanne Bechard of Plattsburgh, NY; one brother Joseph Proulx of Rouses Point, NY; one sister-in-law, Irene Proulx of Plattsburgh, NY; and, several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, 138 Lake Street, Rouses Point, NY at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 25th, 2023. Interment will follow inSt. Joseph’s Cemetery in Coopersville.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pauline can be made to Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church in Rouses Point.
