Phyllis T. Jefferson

Phyllis T. Jefferson, 86, of Rouses Point, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at CVPH with her family by her side.

Phyllis was born on May 22, 1933 to William and Mary (Barker) Jefferson. She is predeceased by her parents, her siblings; Bernard, Charles, Thomas, Rita, Helen Laramie, and Beatrice, her sisters in law Shirley Jefferson and Beatrice Jefferson, niece Debelaine Jefferson and nephews Dalton and Curtis Jefferson.

She is survived by her nephews C. Paul Jefferson, Brian Jefferson, David Jefferson, J and Todd Laramie. Nieces Patricia Trombly, Mary Maximos, and Lynne Romeo. Also, her brother in law George Laramie.  Also by her caregiver and dear friend, Stacy Sweet.

Phyllis will be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit and deep devotion to the Lord and her family.

A very special thanks to the staff at Meadowbrook Nursing Home, Aspen View floor, for the compassionate care they provided to our beloved Aunt.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s in Rouses Point at a future date to be announced. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Champlain.
