Russell L. Dupee

Russell L. Dupee Sr., 88, of Champlain, Ny passed away on Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, at CVPH in Plattsburgh, NY surrounded by his family in his last hours. He was born in Champlain, NY on Aug.1,1935, the son of Edward and Della (Duprey) Dupee.

Russell worked on the family farm in his younger years, then later in life he drove dump truck for many years until his retirement from Northern Blacktopping. 

He enjoyed listening to classic country music, and a love of fishing. His greatest enjoyment was his family and spending time with them. His grandchildren were the light of his life. 

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, his son Baby Ronnie, three brothers William, James "Jimmy" and John, two sisters Jane and Lena, One Granddaughter, three grandsons and two Great-Grandson.

Left to cherish his memory are eight daughters, Amber & Michael King of Champlain, NY., Kristina & Travis Vancour of Champlain, NY., Catherine "Cathy" & Tim LaFountain of Mooers, NY, Lynn & Al Lawrence of Harkness, NY., Cindy & Robert Breyette of Mooers, NY., Candy & Richard Reinhardt of Mooers, NY., Marie "Evelyn" Gay of Mooers, NY., Deborah "Debbie" Dupee-McClinton & Clifford Jones of Plattsburgh, NY. and bonus daughter "Kelly"-Callie King of Plattsburgh, NY.

Three sons, Russell Jr."Rusty" Dupee & Karon Manor of Mooers Forks, NY., William "Billy" & Joyce Dupee of Burke NY.and Bert & Carol Dupee of Chateaugay, NY. Thirty-three Grandchildren, fifty-two Great-Grandchildren, and four Great-Great Grandchildren.

Per the request of Russell there will be no services.
